Es ist jetzt offiziell: Die kommende Office Version wird den Codenamen Office 15 haben, so Stephan Chapman. Viel mehr ist jedoch noch nicht bekannt – und es wird wohl einhergehen mit der Einführung der nächsten Windows Generation: Codename Windows 8.

Über die GPS Anforderung in Office darf gerne gemunkelt werden, und wieder sind es nur sehr wenig Informationen über die kommende Office Version.

Ebenfalls ist durchgesickert dass es einige Neuerungen im Bereich Zusammenarbeit zum Vorschein kommen werden.
Die bisher bekannten Dinge sind zusammengefasst:
- Der Codename ist Office 15
- 2013 wird die neue Office Version erscheinen
- Es wird Office Mobile 15 geben
- Bekannt sind bisher Outlook 15, Word 15, Access 15, SharePoint 15, Excel 15
- Es wird ein neues/verbessertes User Interface geben
- Excel wird ein “neues Feature” bekommen
- Collaboration wird ein großes Thema sein
Gerade erst ist Office 2010 an den Start gegangen, und wie so Oft wird gleich schon nach dem Nachfolger gesucht. Es werden sicher noch weitere Features und Infos über Office 15 an die Oberfläche treten, doch im Moment gibt es einfach noch das Office 2010, mit dem viele von uns noch nicht einmal angefangen haben zu arbeiten. Und es gibt keinen Grund Office 2010 zu überspringen und auf Office 15 zu warten.
